Privacy at DayMerger
DayMerger combines school and work planning without selling personal data. This invitation-only beta collects only what is needed to run and protect the product, and it lets you delete your records.
What DayMerger stores
Your signed-in name and email; private-beta access and age-confirmation records; school settings, courses and deadlines; jobs, hourly rates, pay frequency, pay dates and pay-period cutoffs; scheduled shifts and any unpaid break you enter; reminder choices; device push-subscription routing details and limited delivery history when you turn on background notifications; beta feedback you submit; and encrypted private calendar links only if you choose automatic school or work sync. DayMerger also keeps short-lived request counters to prevent abuse.
What DayMerger does not ask for
DayMerger does not ask for a Social Security number, bank login, bank-account number, payment-card number, school password or work-app password. The current product does not connect to a bank, track bills or compare time cards.
How information is used
Your records are used to refresh school deadlines, import your chosen work schedule, merge school and work into a daily and weekly plan, estimate workload, suggest study blocks, warn about conflicts and show a rough paycheck range. DayMerger does not sell or rent your information.
Calendar connections and file scans
Sign in is provided through ChatGPT. If you approve automatic school or work sync, DayMerger encrypts the private calendar-feed URL, reads calendar items and stores only the records needed for your plan. School-calendar and work-schedule files and schedule screenshots are processed only long enough to create the import you requested; the files and screenshots are not retained.
Earlier beta records
DayMerger no longer displays, updates or automatically syncs the finance and time-card experiments included in an earlier beta. If you used one of those experiments, its historical records may remain associated with your account until you delete your DayMerger data. They are not returned to the current dashboard.
Security and retention
Records are separated by signed-in identity. Automatic school- and work-feed URLs are encrypted before storage and are not returned to the dashboard. DayMerger uses request validation, size limits, rate limits, restricted outbound connections and browser security controls to reduce common web risks. Abuse-prevention counters reset automatically. No online service can promise perfect security. Your other data remains while your beta account is active unless you disconnect a calendar or delete the account.
Notifications
Background notifications are optional. DayMerger stores the device subscription needed to route an encrypted alert through the browser or operating-system push service. The visible alert can include a workload level, work or class time, study block, or deadline title. You can change alert types and quiet hours, turn off a single device, or block DayMerger in device settings.
Your choices
You can use one-time imports instead of automatic calendar connections, disconnect a school or work connection, change reminder choices, turn off background delivery on a device, and delete the data associated with your signed-in identity from the Account section in More.
