On iPhone, first add DayMerger to the Home Screen, then open DayMerger from its new icon.

Open More and scroll to Smart notifications.

Choose Balanced, Essential or Detailed and turn individual alert types on or off.

Tap Turn on notifications and choose Allow on the system prompt.

Wait for the server test. When the card says Works after DayMerger is closed, setup is complete.

If the test fails, tap Repair & test. DayMerger will create a fresh phone connection automatically.

Classes and deadlines
Connect a school calendar onceUse a private calendar subscription so later published changes can refresh.+

Open Week → Open School → Connect school.

Choose the platform your school uses.

Use the Start here button and follow the four platform-specific steps shown in DayMerger.

Paste the private webcal:// or https:// calendar subscription link—not your password or the normal browser address.

Select Connect & sync. Use Sync now later if you want to check immediately.

Open Week → Open School → Connect school and choose your platform.

Use Find my login if you do not know your school’s address.

After the correct login page opens, copy the normal address from the browser bar.

Return to DayMerger, paste it under School login page and select Save shortcut.

The School page will now open that exact portal in one tap.
Import an .ics school calendar fileUse this fallback if your school offers a download but not a subscription link.+

Export or download the calendar from your school portal as an .ics file.

Open Week → Open School → Connect school.

Select Can only download a file? Import the .ics instead.

Choose the file and select Import schoolwork.
An assignment or test is missingCheck the connection, then confirm the item exists in the school calendar itself.+

Check the last-synced time and any connection error shown at the top.

Open the school calendar and confirm the assignment has a date there.

If the school does not publish it to the calendar, use Add to enter that one deadline manually.

Select Connect calendar once, then choose your work app.

In the work app’s personal schedule settings, look for Calendar Sync, Subscribe, WebCal or iCal.

Copy your personal subscription link, paste it in DayMerger and select Connect & import.

Select Import the full posted schedule.

Choose one long image or every weekly screenshot together. The order does not matter when the date range is visible.

Crop away messages, menus and unrelated screens, but keep the month or week heading visible.

Choose the images again. Add any missed shift on the review screen before saving.

Open Week. DayMerger places study blocks in open time and prioritizes nearer deadlines.

If time cannot fit, Week shows the unscheduled amount so you can move work, reduce scope or start a catch-up plan.
Verify imported dates and timesThe review screen keeps an imperfect screenshot or calendar from becoming a bad plan.+

After an import, compare every detected row with the original schedule or school calendar.

Correct any date, start time, end time or title that is wrong.

Remove duplicate or unrelated rows and add anything the import missed.

Security and controls
Disconnect a source or delete your informationConnection and account controls live under More.+

Choose Disconnect when available. Imported items stay unless you remove them separately.
